Generalized ordinal Nash games: Variational approach
نویسندگان
چکیده
It is known that the generalized Nash equilibrium problem can be reformulated as a quasivariational inequality. Our aim in this work to introduce variational approach study existence of solutions for ordinal games, is, games where player preferences are binary relations do not necessarily admit utility representation.

Revisiting Generalized Nash Games and Variational Inequalities
Generalized Nash games represent an extension of Nash games in which strategy sets are coupled across players. The equilibrium conditions of such a game can be compactly stated as a quasivariational inequality (QVI), an extension of the variational inequality (VI). Harker [9] showed that under certain conditions on the maps defining the QVI, a solution to a related VI solves the QVI. This is a ...
متن کاملOrdinal Games and Generalized Nash and Stackelberg Solutions
The traditional theory of cardinal games deals with problems where the players are able to assess the relative performance of their decisions (or controls) by evaluating a payoff (or utility function) that maps the decision space into the set of real numbers. In that theory, the objective of each player is to determine a decision that minimizes its payoff function taking into account the decisi...
متن کاملQuasi-variational inequalities, generalized Nash equilibria, and multi-leader-follower games
The noncooperative multi-leader-follower game can be formulated as a generalized Nash equilibrium problem where each player solves a nonconvex mathematical program with equilibrium constraints. Two major deficiencies exist with such a formulation: One is that the resulting Nash equilibrium may not exist, due to the nonconvexity in each player’s problem; the other is that such a nonconvex Nash g...
متن کاملOn Generalized Weight Nash Equilibria for Generalized Multiobjective Games
In this paper, we will introduce the general concepts of generalized multiobjective game, generalized weight Nash equilibria and generalized Pareto equilibria. Next using the fixed point theorems due to Idzik [5] and Kim-Tan [6], we shall prove the existence theorems of generalized weight Nash equilibria under general hypotheses. And as applications of generalized weight Nash equilibria, we sha...
متن کاملAn Approach to Fuzzy Noncooperative Nash Games
Systems that involve more than one decision maker are often optimized using the theory of games. In the traditional game theory, it is assumed that each player has a well-defined quantitative utility function over a set of the player decision space. Each player attempts to maximize minimize his her own expected utility and each is assumed to know the extensive game in full. At present, it canno...
